Charity Day 2014

Once again we´re delighted to have been able to have the chance to help out Tui Uk with their annual Charity Day here in Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park. All the donations made will be sent to the two charities involved, Family Holiday Association and the NSPCC (National Society for Protection of Cruelty to Children) To help out those in need. Alligator Turtle, Macrochelys temminckii

Distribution: It’s limited to North America (Estados Unidos) and is found in the Mississippi Valley all the way to the North of Kansas. Panther Chameleon, Furcifer pardalis

Description:  The incredible colours, in more than 25 varieties and their well known gentle character make these a suitable pet for both those starting out and those who are fascinated by this specie and wish to obtain new colours. The panther chameleon can grow up to 55cm but normally doesn’t grow larger than 45. Females are smaller, at around 30-35cm. Die Bademeister und das Erste Hilfe Team des Rancho Texas Lanzarote Parks haben sich in einem Kursus an verschiedenen technischen Geräten weitergebildet (Soporte vital básico (SVB) und Desfibrilador Semiautomático Externo (DESA)) und dabei ihre Kenntnisse und Techniken der Reanimation verbessert. Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park ist eine kardiogeschützte Zone, da wir sowohl über das entsprechende Equipment als auch über das entsprechend ausgebildete Personal verfügen, um bei einem Herz- und Atemstillstand eine Erstversorgung zu leisten.

Cardio Protected

Our lifeguard staff at ‪Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park are regularly updated and prepared by instructor of Basic Life Support SVB and DESA to improve the aid techniques like resuscitation taking the course: Basic Life Support and Semi Automatic External Defibrillator. Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park is a cardio protected area, because we have the correct equipment (semi-automatic defibrillator or AED, emergency equipment) and trained personnel for the initial management of cardio respiratory arrest

Estrella reaches three months with the help of a bottle

Last August the high temperatures caused Lisa´s milk production to reduce significantly. This caused us to worry about the development of our little Estrella.     Fortunately, Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park counts on the help of a marine biologist, a veterinarian and several specific caregivers who formulated a special milk, advised by the specialist Andrew Greenwood. Rancho Texas + TUI UK = Charity Day
