Opened on April 22, 2019, the Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park penguinarium is inspired by the landscape of El Golfo (Yaiza, Lanzarote). A warm climate shelter, suitable to house our Humboldt Penguins.

This space has a terrestrial area where the nests are located and where they shelter in pairs, we can also see them socializing and sunbathing, and another aquatic area of salt water, which is constantly filtered, at a lower level where visitors can observe through a glass their swimming skills. This design offers greater visibility and interactivity between the penguins and visitors.

Every day, our team of animal care experts and marine biologists ensure that the penguins receive a balanced, nutritious diet, as well as the enrichment necessary to encourage their natural behavior.

In addition to physical care, we are dedicated to educating the public about the importance of marine conservation and the protection of these species. Through educational programs and interactive activities, we inspire people to take action to preserve marine habitats and protect endangered species. Our commitment is to ensure the well-being of our penguins while promoting awareness and respect for the marine world.
